This "new buddy" is my best-est friend in the whole wide world. Her
name is "SQUIRT". I'm not quite sure what kind of mutt she is, but
it must be one of the best combinations (they said beagle and collie,
something isn't right)!!! SQUIRT is 13 years old and was born around
Wood River, IL. I got her as a pet when she was just a baby and I was
13 years old!!
She now resides with my husband John and I in Lubbock, TX. She is
the most well behaved dog (not so much in her puppy days...so be patient!!)
and soooooo gentle!! We couldn't love her more if we had to.
She has had extensive back problems throughout her long life, and, at last
check, had only 1 good disc left in her back (all of the others had been
ruptured at one time or another (we know of 2 occurrences). BUT, ALAS,
this pooch just keeps on going!!!! She LIVES, and I mean LIVES to this
day TO PLAY!!!! Her favorites are frisbee in the yard and BRIGHT NEW
tennis balls anywhere!!!!
She is one happy dog, and for this, I am happy!!
