Maggi is a five year old, 100 pound rottweiler residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
On October 1/98 Maggi had cruciate ligament (knee surgery) from which
she is recovering beautifully. Prior to surgery her favourite
activities included long off-leash walks in a local park with many of
her friends, including Oreo and Riley (fellow barking buddies), daily
swims during the summer and weekend hikes and trail blazing with her
people. More recently (post-surgery) her activities have been
limited to 15 minute walks, long drives and sitting in the park
watching the other dogs go by. Maggi should be back to her regular
activities shortly after the new year.
Maggi's favourite things include cheez wiz, milk bones and steeling
my seat on the couch as soon as I get up. She has passed, with
flying colours, four levels of obedience training including a novice
A competition class. She is loved and respected always.
